RESEARCH

With the prevalence of modern work heavily being mental labor and hybrid/digital, more people feel they cannot separate their personal lives from their professional lives

54% of people report stress from work has negatively affected their home life on a weekly or daily basis

We want our collection to encourage rejuvenating personal time

1. Disconnect from work

2. Reflect Personal Identity

3. Support Hobbies

Our design brief required us to manufacture at least one product in the collection, therefore we focused on simplifying the design as much as possible while still being maximally functional
